What a Great Quarter, Rebels!
As we come to the end of our first quarter, I want to take a moment to celebrate what an incredible and wonderful quarter it has been at Weld Central Middle School!
We have already experienced so many great moments together. Our 6th graders had a fantastic field trip to Centennial Village, where they had the opportunity to connect their classroom learning to real experiences. We also enjoyed a fun-filled Fall Sports Tailgate hosted by our amazing PTA, bringing our school community together to celebrate our athletes and connect with one another.
We have seen our 8th grade WEB Leaders step up and make a difference, and our STUCO members are getting started and already showing great leadership. We are also incredibly proud of all of our wonderful fall sports teams and the hard work, dedication, and Rebel spirit they have shown throughout the season.
These are the moments that make our school such a special place. Thank you to our students, staff, families, coaches, and volunteers for making this quarter so successful. Your support, energy, and commitment help make Weld Central Middle School a place where students can learn, grow, and thrive.
As we look ahead, we are excited about all that is still to come. We can’t wait to see what happens next!
Go Rebels!

After-School Study Hall at Weld Central Middle School
We are excited to offer a new After-School Study Hall opportunity for WCMS students.
Study Hall will be held each Wednesday from 3:15–4:30 p.m. and will provide students with additional time and support to complete assignments, get help with schoolwork, and build strong academic habits.
A few important details
Study Hall is limited to 15 students each week.
Students must be referred and signed up by a teacher to attend.
Parents/guardians who are interested in having their student attend should reach out to their student's teacher.
Students may ride the activity bus at 4:45 p.m. to the local elementary school.
If your student is not riding the activity bus, they must be picked up at WCMS at 4:30 p.m.
The referring teacher will let you know that your student has been signed up and will communicate what subject or assignment the student will be working on.
We are excited to provide this additional opportunity to support academic excellence and help our students develop real skills for real life!
Thank you for partnering with us to support student success!

SRO Safety Spotlight
Emergency Drills: Why We Practice Emergency drills might interrupt your school day, but they have an important purpose. We practice so that if a real emergency happens, we already know how to respond. LISTEN CAREFULLY — Pay attention to your teacher and staff members giving directions. MOVE CALMLY — Walk when you're supposed to walk and stay with your class. DON'T FOOL AROUND — A drill is a time to practice being safe, not a time to push, run, yell, or distract others. KNOW WHERE TO GO — Follow your teacher and learn the designated location or procedure for your class. LOOK OUT FOR OTHERS — Stay with your group and help create a calm environment for everyone. ASK QUESTIONS — If you don't understand what you're supposed to do, ask a teacher or trusted adult. A simple rule to remember: Listen. Stay calm. Follow directions. Every drill is practice for being prepared. Have a safe and happy Friday!
