Panorama Surveys

Dear Families,

At Weld Re-3J, we know that student belonging is a key part of both academic and personal success. Creating a safe, supportive, and positive school environment is one of our top priorities for students and staff.

Between September 7-18 we will do a beginning of the year survey, and between April 26 - May 7th we will do an end of the year survey, students in grades 3–12 will be asked to complete a short survey about how they feel at school, including their sense of belonging, and their connections with teachers and peers.

Your child’s participation in this survey is very important. The information we gather helps us strengthen staff training, improve student supports, and ensure that our schools continue to be safe, welcoming places where every student can excel.

Thank you for partnering with us in this important work. A copy of the survey can be found by clicking on the link below.

Please contact your student’s principal if you have any questions.
The attachment below provides information about the laws and district policies that help protect student and family privacy when schools collect student information.

Please note: The Panorama surveys are used to gather student feedback about their school experience, relationships, engagement, and social-emotional learning needs. They are not mental health screenings and are not intended to diagnose or identify mental health disorders. Survey responses are handled in accordance with applicable privacy protections and district policies.

SRO Safety Spotlight

Middle School | This Week’s Safety Tip

“Bullying Isn’t a Joke”

Bullying can happen anywhere — in the classroom, hallways, on the bus, during activities, or online. Repeated teasing, insults, threats, exclusion, or hurtful posts can have a serious impact on someone.

When you see or experience bullying:

DON'T JOIN IN — Laughing, sharing, commenting, or encouraging it can make things worse.

SPEAK UP — Let someone know that bullying isn't okay.

THINK BEFORE YOU POST — Hurtful comments, pictures, or messages can spread quickly and are difficult to take back.

TELL AN ADULT — Talk to a trusted adult if you or someone else is being bullied.

And remember: Saying “I was just joking” doesn't erase the impact of hurtful behavior. Treat others with the same respect you expect from them.

Three little words can make a BIG difference: Don't. Join. Speak.

Have a safe and happy Friday!
