This week, our WEB Leaders had the opportunity to visit 6th grade classrooms as part of their Academic Follow-Ups. The WEB Academic Follow-Up Committee prepared a fun and helpful presentation focused on organization, preparation, and strategies for being successful middle school students. Our 6th graders were excited to welcome their WEB Mentors, and our WEB Leaders had the chance to showcase their natural leadership skills while sharing some tips they have learned along the way. In addition, the WEB Staff Celebration Committee created a bulletin board celebrating the amazing staff members of WCMS while also highlighting National Photography Day on August 19 and National Shooting Star Day on August 24. Staff members even had their pictures taken as part of the celebration! These activities are wonderful examples of how WEB helps students build relationships, support one another, celebrate our school community, and truly connect to community.
