A Message from Principal Schriner

There are so many great things happening at Weld Central Middle School! Our students are working hard and learning in the classroom, building connections, making new friends, and continuing to grow each day.

We are honored to partner with you in supporting your student. Together, we can help every Rebel discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and unlock their Limitless potential.

Thank you for being such an important part of our WCMS community!

Panorama Surveys

Dear Families,

At Weld Re-3J, we know that student belonging is a key part of both academic and personal success. Creating a safe, supportive, and positive school environment is one of our top priorities for students and staff.

Between September 7-18 we will do a beginning of the year survey, and between April 26 - May 7th we will do an end of the year survey, students in grades 3–12 will be asked to complete a short survey about how they feel at school, including their sense of belonging, and their connections with teachers and peers.

Your child’s participation in this survey is very important. The information we gather helps us strengthen staff training, improve student supports, and ensure that our schools continue to be safe, welcoming places where every student can excel.

Thank you for partnering with us in this important work. A copy of the survey can be found by clicking on the link below.

Please contact your student’s principal if you have any questions.
The attachment below provides information about the laws and district policies that help protect student and family privacy when schools collect student information.

Please note: The Panorama surveys are used to gather student feedback about their school experience, relationships, engagement, and social-emotional learning needs. They are not mental health screenings and are not intended to diagnose or identify mental health disorders. Survey responses are handled in accordance with applicable privacy protections and district policies.

SRO Safety Spotlight

“TMI: The Internet Doesn’t Need Your Life Story!”

Middle School | This Week’s Safety Tip

The Scoop:

Think twice before sharing personal information online. Your full name, school, location, sports team, daily schedule, or even where you’re headed after school can give strangers more information than you realize. Keep personal details private, even if someone online seems friendly or says they already know you.

SRO Tip:

Before you post, ask yourself: “Would I want a stranger to know this?” If the answer is no, keep it offline.

Remember: The internet is not your diary—and definitely doesn’t need your GPS coordinates!
