Important Band and Exploratory Course Information

Dear Families,

Weld Central Middle School and Lochbuie Intermediate Academy are excited to offer students in grades 6-8 a large variety of exploratory opportunities in the 2025-2026 school year. Below is a list of what each school will be offering:

Advanced Concert Band, Choir, Advanced STEM, Robotics, Spanish, Competitive Team Sports, Health, 2D/3D Art and Digital Art, Archaeology, and Anthropology

 

Additionally, please remember that all Band students will need to purchase or rent their instruments beginning in August 2025. 

The school district will have a very limited number of instruments available for rent or use.

For families needing additional support, we offer a free/reduced instrument application that will be available after July 1, 2025. 

We encourage families to start planning early. By taking steps now, you can help your student smoothly transition into our music programs.
