What is GIG?
GIG (Grade Improvement Group) is an after school homework help and standards re-teach session. GIG is for any subject area. Students can come for one day, or come every day, depending on how much time and help they require. Students should sign up on Monday, with their math teacher, for the days they plan on staying that week. Questions? Contact Heather Montejano at email@example.com or at 303-536-2742.
We are so excited to have The Boomerang Project’s transition program WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) at our middle school. WEB is a student-led transition program that creates a welcoming, nurturing environment where sixth graders feel supported and cared for and it creates an environment of belonging. This program helps to reduce incoming sixth grade fears such as bullying and failure, and replaces it with support and connections with peers and school staff. For more information visit the counseling page and/or www.boomerangproject.com
