What is Brain Bowl
†Brain Bowl is an intellectual group of members who enjoy trivia and discovering new knowledge. Brain Bowl is a junior high version of Knowledge Bowl (high school). Students participate in four competitions in April of each year against rival schools such as Estes Park, Miliken, Eaton, and University. April tournaments will be held on Saturdays. Each school program compiles multiple grade-team teams (usually teams of 3-5 students) to compete against other grade-level teams in three rounds of trivia questions and one round of a written trivia test. Points are accumulative, and the team with the most points after the four rounds wins the tournament.
Regular season and team compilation will begin in January. Students will meet on a regular basis before, during, or after school to practice for the tournaments in April. Teams are chosen based on grade-level and the number of students who participate.†
